Dear client,
As of January 1st 2024, ECT Rotterdam has introduced new tariffs for road hauliers at ECT Delta and Euromax. The tariffs, a climate tariff and a distribution surcharge are designed for them to reach their climate objectives and a better distribution of road transport.
The total charge for these is €16 per visit. As a commercial gesture we have taken over the charge for our customers until February 29th. Although we do not agree with the argumentation of ECT that the tariff will reduce congestion, we are unfortunately forced to take this into account for our cost price from March 1st onwards. For us as a transport company it is not a cost we can bear.
