Reefer transport with genset has become one of our specialties. We have an extensive fleet of trailers fitted with a genset. This ensures our customer's temperature controlled goods are kept at the right temperature from point of loading until the point of delivery.
Ice-cream transport
Ice-cream is just one of the goods we load weekly. Our customer needs the goods transported at -28°C. Our drivers pick-up the reefer container pre-set from the port and connect it to the genset. This way the goods can be transferred from the warehouse to the container. Without ever being exposed to a different temperature. Once all the goods are loaded and the doors closed the reefer is transported to the port directly.
Whilst on the road the container is always cooled. Even when the driver stops for a break, the genset continues. Only on the terminal, the container is disconnected from the genset. It is then immediately connected to a power unit.
